  1. Can you tell us about your journey into content creation?

I fell into content creation pretty organically. I’ve always loved celebrating relationships and every little milestone within them. That love morphed into the idea of starting a blog about monthsaries.

it started years ago, but I struggled with traffic and left the blog offline & inactive for awhile – it was getting around 1000 views a month, but plateaued for years.

After a career change into content creation, i decided to restart my blog & hopefully get some UGC gigs in the relationship/couple niche.

  1. What inspired you to become a creator/blogger?

It was the small, significant moments in our relationships that really sparked my interest in blogging. I wanted to create a corner of the internet where people could find fresh and creative ways to celebrate their ‘monthsaries’.

  1. How did you get started with your first blog or piece of user-generated content?

I began with a humble blog post about the whole ‘monthsary’ concept. It was deeply personal, filled with my own experiences and ideas on how to make these monthly anniversaries special.

  1. What were some of the challenges you faced when you were first starting out?

At the start, my biggest hurdle was visibility. It was hard getting the word out about my blog and making people understand and appreciate the idea of ‘monthsaries’.

  1. How do you come up with ideas for your content?

My content ideas usually spring from my own experiences, feedback from my readers, and popular trends and topics in the world of relationships.

  1. Can you share any tips or advice for others who are thinking about becoming content creators?

To anyone contemplating a journey into content creation, my advice is simple – find something you’re passionate about and stick with it. And remember, consistency is just as important as creativity.

  1. How do you engage with your audience and make sure your content resonates with them?

Connecting with my audience is crucial to me. I interact with them through comments and DMs, and their feedback often shapes my content. This way, I ensure my blog really speaks to them.

  1. Can you share a memorable experience or success story from your content creation journey?

One of the most memorable moments for me was when a reader told me my blog had helped breathe new life into their relationship. That was a huge win and validation for me.

  1. How do you handle negative feedback or criticism?

Dealing with negative feedback is never easy, but I’ve learned to see it as a chance to grow. I take every piece of criticism on board and try to better my content based on it.

  1. What are your future plans for your content creation career?

Looking ahead, I’m excited to cover more relationship topics on my blog.

And I’m confident brands would love some blog coverage for their product when working on their UGC.

I also hope to work with other bloggers and maybe even launch a digital product or service centered around ‘monthsaries’.
